Presented as a series of ‘Collections,’ an existing, Victorian sandstone villa was sympathetically conserved to conceive four apartments known as ‘Heritage’. A range of 'Contemporary' new build apartments and a three-bedroom ‘Mews’ were also created. Having never worked with a dedicated design specialist to supply and install all components of a kitchen, CCG Homes appointed Kitchens International to design, project manage and install kitchens at each apartment in their luxury Calderwood Lodge development.
All expectations were considered from the outset offering an unrivalled specification in the area to ensure a luxury development in the area.
Solid Silestone worktops were a must to fulfil the client expectation regardless of plot. A tasteful selection of finishes from luxury German furniture brand, Leicht, were specified to provide purchasers with ample choice for their new kitchen, ensuring finishes would work in an open plan kitchen living, dining space.
Careful consideration was given to maximising storage space with the target market predominantly being downsizers who in turn traditionally have a lot to store. Penthouses had additional enhancements as standard such as Quooker tap, wine coolers, pull out bin and worktop mounted flip sockets.
